RESEARCH HIGHLIGHT:

A recent study explored the long-term satisfaction of men treated with collagenase clostridium histolyticum (CCH) for Peyronie’s disease, with data spanning over a decade. Of the 242 patients surveyed, only 42.5% reported satisfaction with their results after a median of 5 years. Surprisingly, neither initial curvature nor plaque size predicted satisfaction, but greater curvature and plaque volume post-treatment correlated with lower satisfaction. Additionally, depression and subsequent surgery significantly reduced satisfaction scores.

Bottom line - getting collagenase injections might not be 100% successful in improving your penile curvature, but I think having appropriate expectations can help significantly. Peyronie's is a tough condition that can have significant impacts on quality of life and mental health.

No, no one has ever ejaculated during an examination but very often men do get erections during examinations and when they are put to sleep for surgery. This is a totally normal physiologic response and nothing to worry about. Your doctor will not take it personally or get offended - so don't stress.
