Did you know that sexual function during pregnancy and postpartum is more complex than we realize? This study examines how pregnancy and the postpartum period can impact a woman’s sexual health. The results? Many women experience a decline in sexual function during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, due to factors like hormonal shifts, body image, and partner dynamics.
Take away: Postpartum is a tough time, be generous with compliments and understanding of the challenges that come with a newborn, body and hormonal changes.
This week, someone asked me “What is the best option to help with opening blood vessels to my penis. I have poor blood flow on the left side near my penis and also having issues with staying hard and errect. Help me please . I'm only 45”.
Here’s the answer to that, the best option is improving your cardiovascular health – increase your physical activity to get 150 minutes of aerobic activity per week. Prioritize unprocessed natural foods and limit saturated fat, fried foods, and desserts. You can also try to take medications like sildenafil and tadalafil, I prefer 5mg daily for younger guys so it’s always helping increase blood flow to the genitals. Most importantly talk to your primary care physician to get you blood pressure and cholesterol tested and screened for diabetes. You can also watch this video to learn more about Erectile issues.
I love hearing from you, so if there’s a question you’ve been wanting to ask, just let me know. Who knows? Your question might be the one I dive into next!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY CHANNEL
Recently, I discussed about the average size of the vagina and how it can change.
Quote: “The average vaginal length was 9.8 centimeters or 3.9 inches... during arousal, the vaginal length and width also increase.”
Here are some interesting points I covered:
Vaginas can stretch and expand during arousal, accommodating different sizes.
Factors like age, height, weight, and menopause can slightly affect vaginal length.
Having more sex or different partners doesn’t make the vagina looser.
These insights remind us that most people are compatible and can enjoy great sex with an average-sized penis and vagina. So, don't stress about size and focus on enjoying the experience.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY PODCAST
I had an enlightening discussion with Dr. Joe Zundell about the intricacies of cancer, the myths surrounding it, and how lifestyle choices can impact our health. Dr. Joe Zundell shared some profound insights! As he put “Obsession can be a double-edged sword—useful for achievement, but harmful if it crosses into unhealthy territory.”
We covered quite a bit, but here are some key takeaways:
Many cancers can be prevented with better education, healthier diets, and cleaner environments.
Consistent exercise and good sleep are crucial for reducing cancer risk.
Diet trends like ketogenic diets aren’t proven to cure cancer, but maintaining a healthy weight is important.
Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or here as Dr. Zundell emphasizes using skepticism and critical thinking when considering health information, and see why listeners are commenting “Thanks for this discussion and introducing me to Dr. Joe Zundell, excellent work.”
