🎧 I spoke with Dr. Fenwa Milhouse about safe sexual enhancement, libido, and what not to do to your penis.

Did you know that a gas once thought to be insignificant completely changed how we treat erectile dysfunction?

Over the last 20 years, research has revealed that nitric oxide—a short-lived, invisible gas—is actually the key player in helping the penis achieve and maintain an erection. This discovery led to the development of the medications we now know so well: sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), and vardenafil (Levitra), all designed to enhance nitric oxide’s effects in the body.

Why does this matter?

Because this tiny molecule gave rise to the most effective ED treatments we have today—and it all started with better understanding the basic biology of how erections work.

This week, someone asked me, “Firstly I'm a Diabetic. I require a CURE for frequent urination .Also suffer from ED please advise”. Here’s the answer to that, for your frequent urination, the key is to first ensure your blood sugars are under good control, as poorly managed diabetes is a major cause of increased urine output; unchecked blood glucose leads to glucose spilling into the urine, which pulls more water out with it and makes you urinate more often. It’s important to rule out issues like urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, or benign prostatic hyperplasia, so a thorough evaluation is warranted. Regarding ED, diabetes can affect both blood flow and nerve function to the penis, but not all hope is lost—managing your overall health, maintaining healthy lifestyle habits like regular exercise and the Mediterranean diet, strictly adhering to your diabetes regimen, and minimizing other risks like hypertension and smoking can make a significant difference. In addition, oral medications like Sildenafil or Tadalafil are often effective for diabetic men with ED, and we can tailor other treatments if pills aren’t ideal for you..

I love hearing from you, so if there’s a question you’ve been wanting to ask, just let me know. Who knows? Your question might be the one I dive into next!

WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO LATELY

Last weekend, I went to the Pinnacle conference, a conference for women in medicine, to speak about growing a digital brand. It was a fun weekend to unwind and meet some other women with similar interests in educating the public. I also got to dress up for the gala, which is always fun!

Did you know I'm CMO of a women's health media company called FemHealth?

Femhealth will be hosting a women's health gala in DC in September. If you have any interest in learning more or working with us as a sponsor, you can reply to this email, and we'll get you connected!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY CHANNEL

Let’s talk about how you can really improve pleasure in the bedroom—and why it’s not just about one move or position! Quote: "It's about learning the areas of the body that turn you and your partner on, the erogenous zones. And how do you stimulate those areas most effectively?"

Here are some quick takeaways:

  • Erogenous zones aren’t just genitals—think neck, nipples, inner thighs, and more.

  • Slow, gentle touch (not fast!) on these zones is proven to be much more pleasurable.

  • Communication and trying new things with your partner makes sex more satisfying (and even healthier).

Remember, “Take time, enjoy pleasure. It is not a race to the finish line, and I can promise you that the end product will be well worth it.”

HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY PODCAST

I had an incredible conversation with Dr. Fenwa Milhouse about cosmetic urology, personal experiences with libido, and how we can enhance our sexual well-being safely. Dr. Milhouse, who specializes in sexual medicine, shared some really valuable advice, including this nugget: “If you are a man who cares about your penis, stay the f away from liquid silicone injection.”

Here's a few key takeaways from our discussion:

  • Fillers, especially hyaluronic acid, are safe and reversible options for enhancing penile girth.

  • Communication about sexual preferences and desires is crucial to improving and maintaining a satisfying sexual relationship.

  • Experimenting with sexual enhancements can be positive, but seek qualified professionals to avoid complications.

Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or here to discover why Dr. Milhouse believes that cultivating desire isn't just a switch but a continual process. You won't want to miss why listeners are saying “These women are heroes for communicating this information.”
